Connecting Opportunity to Talent in the World of Web3.

About us

We believe like Andreeson Horowitz that software will eat the world. Blockchain Technology and it's social aspects are the most fascinating space we've been a part of to date. It's become clearly important that you'll need to have Recruiters that understand blockchain/crypto technology, and are up to speed on the sub-culture aspects so that they can relate and speak to candidates on a level-playing field. In fact in 2022 it's more important than ever. We have an extremely tight labor market and that will stay true for the foreseeable future. Time is of the essence and in Recruiting seconds matter. The Web3 space is different and you'll be hard pressed to find candidates doing a LinkedIn search. You'll have to go deeper than that and that's where Probably Nothing Talent thrives, because we're savvy marketers that knows how to get our candidates attention in a hurry! We've placed talented web3 candidates in roles such as Marketing, Advertising, Creative, Sales, Finance, and Tech. All the goods: www.ProbablyNothingTalent.com

7 Facts & Questions I have about recruitment: 1. If candidates just spent all their time networking they’d find a job in an instant! 2. If you’re on LinkedIn looking for a job and you’re not in a pod how do you expect to be successful on this platform? 3. If you’re not going to someone’s profile that has the job you want and taking all their info and putting it on your Linkeidn profile to look like you can do it too, how are you even being authentic!? 4. Did you know that Recruiters solely work with candidates ONLY and anyone who tells you otherwise works at Fox Sports. (BAYLESS!) 5. Did you hear the one about the recycled job description? It was trash. 6. If their offer isn’t the number you want, just swipe right. 7. If you were like me and went to college you just wasted 8 years of your life 😂🤣😂 BONUS FACT: not sure you realized this but… If you put in 100 job applications every hour of everyday … do you understand how many job application that would be, about 875k applications after a year. Why you looking at me like that?

You're going to hate me, a lot of you. I don't care, honesty is more important to me. Have you seen all these badges on LinkedIn and thought. "cool". I've literally got 4 of them. Top Entrepreneurship, Voice, Recruiting, and Sales. How did I get these badges? I answered some questions and then people liked it. That's it. That's the game. If you have the ability to answer these questions and people like it... Chances are you'll get a badge too. I've "helped" 13 people get their badges SO why not EVERYONE! Here's what you need to do... Search whatever your industry is, mine is "Recruiting". Then a page by LinkedIn Skill Pages will appear and start answering the questions. It's that easy and YOU TOO can get a badge. You get a badge, and you get a badge, and you get a badge... WE ALL GET BADGES! Who's earning there's today? Repost if you found this helpful!

If you put your address at the top of your resume Please indicate if it’s 1 or 2 day shipping. You know they say most people just fall into recruiting.. But I never felt that way. Because I was definitely pushed. One day I’m going to tell a hiring manager I’ve got a unicorn AND it’s just for YOU. And then I’m going to tell them to put their hand out and hand them the kernel. They say people can learn anything hire for character. And if possible hire the one that can do THAT job. Did you hear the one about the hiring manager that didn’t use the word “cross-functional” Me neither. If you have an interview coming up I say, wing it. Just don’t add any weak sauce. A company without a pay range, is like going to a restaurant and asking to see a menu and the waiter says “oh no, we DEFINITELY HAVE FOOD, but we don’t have menus”… and then just stands there. With a pen. And a pad. Waiting. … It’s too serious of a Monday to not balance it with a laugh. I forget who said it but… If you laughed and cried in one day. It was a great day. Happy Monday!

You're making a mistake in the job interview process. Let me tell you what it is. Both sides of the recruitment process should take caution. Candidates and Organizations DYOR. DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH. Have you heard that acronym before? We use it a lot in web3 and blockchain and I wish we used it more in web2. It puts the ownership on YOU. For web3, it means did you do your research before investing in this project? Investments aren't only dollar values, they're time values too. Before you interview for a role, you research the opportunity, right!?! Because when employers are bringing you in to interview, you better believe MOST do! They look at your resume, your LinkedIn, your socials, you previous experiences, heck they even do a background check! What research process do you have for employers? DO you? At what point in the process do you think it's necessary? I can't believe the amount of people that will take time out of their day to apply for a role get to the phone call with me and have no idea why we're talking BUT that's not the point of this post. YOU WOULDN'T BELIEVE the amount of organizations that don't do their research on YOU. I'm serious. Most don't have a process they follow. They just GO! SO, it's up to you. The cost of YOU neglecting research in the job hunt process can lead to HOURS wasted and $100's wasted. You DON'T want to find out something after the 7th interview you could have found at the start.

So many people get this wrong… but here’s the truth. You didn't completely answer their question. I’ve seen the most experienced people — with the most impressive resumes — make these rookie mistakes that end interviews. But how would you know? What information are they looking for? How should you start, end? You don't. You're not a job expert, hiring manager or Recruiter. And with so many different questions asked in interviews, you can’t practice all of them! But I'm going to let you in on a little secret today. That... It's not a secret. It's a guide! This guide will help you flesh out all the details so you can be confident in your next interview. With this guide you're going to: • Be able to answer any interview question in 2 minutes or less. • Be able to come up with new ideas and stories. • Be relaxed and confident in your answers. No more freezing up, not knowing what to say, or wandering in your interview. So there you have it: Follow this framework and practice smarter. Your interview wins and job offers will follow.

Here are the 4 steps I took to get promoted at work Steal my framework: 1. Did everyone else’s work 2. Asked 1,000,001 questions 3. Studied how the CEO drank her coffee 4. Bought a pair of Stacy Adams Through sheer will and determination I realized that anything was possible if I just created a strategy and delivered. Since then, I’ve built unbelievable trust with my employer, but most importantly I’ve built trust with myself. Even if my employer didn’t give me this promotion, in my heart and in my mind. I’m the CEO of my life. Every journey begins with a single step. Start investing in your learning today and pave the way for your transformative results tomorrow!!

The biggest lesson I learned from taking actions that other people told me to. That I'm living a lie. I've been trying to be like the people I see that are finding success. But here's the problem. I'm not Luke Matthews and I'm not Nat Berman. I'm Kevin Logan Jr We are unique human beings, you and I. Watch, I'll prove it: I grew up in Japan from 11-17 years old - I quit college my 4th year 2nd semester I was homeless in my early 20's - I lost my little brother (in law) last year at age 19 • I'm half Dominican and half White This is my story that I have to figure out how to tell my way. So, I'm not saying don't learn from them. Learn from them, but show what you're learning in your way. For me, I've decided I'm going to be honest AF with... My - Self My - Clients & My - Community I can't show up as someone I'm not, that's boring. That's not going to help me stand out from the crowd and achieve my goals & you, like I have BIG goals.
