  • 🌟 Celebrating Parents' Appreciation Day from a PEP Perspective 🌟 Today, as we honor Parents' Appreciation Day, we're reminded of the profound impact parents have on our lives, no matter where we are or what circumstances we face. From within the Prison Entrepreneurship Program (PEP), this day holds special significance as we reflect on the unwavering support and love our parents have shown us throughout our journeys. Today, as we mark this special day, we extend our deepest gratitude to every parent who has stood by us, who has believed in our potential to change and grow. Your support transcends these walls and reaches into the very core of our being, motivating us to become better sons, better individuals, and ultimately, better contributors to society. From all of us in the Prison Entrepreneurship Program, Happy Parents' Appreciation Day. Your love is our foundation, and with it, we're building brighter futures, one step at a time. Here’s to the parents who continue to inspire hope and resilience within us all. Thank you for everything. 🌟 #ParentsAppreciationDay #PEP #TransformingLives

  • **🌟 Transformative Heroism in Houston! 🌟**   In the wake of Hurricane Beryl’s devastation, a truly inspiring local story has emerged from Houston that deserves our attention. On July 9th, NBC Nightly News featured a gripping segment about the millions still without power in Houston. Among those offering support was the Texas Tree Transformation LLC, making a significant impact with their unique grapple truck. Their cutting-edge technology has been crucial in clearing massive trees and aiding in storm recovery. 🚜🌳   What sets this company apart? They are the ONLY ones in North Texas with this innovative technology and chose to bring it to Houston to support recovery efforts. Plus, they are proud graduates of the Prison Entrepreneurship Program (PEP), which provided them with the mentorship and support when traditional banks wouldn’t. 💪🌟   The owner and many crew members, all PEP graduates, have transformed their lives and are now giving back to Houston in a time of need. Their journey is a powerful testament to resilience, transformation, and the impact of community support.   It’s more than just a tale of recovery—This story perfectly embodies the PEP motto: Transforming Lives, Restoring Families, and Rebuilding Communities.🔗 #CommunityHeroism #HoustonStrong #Transformation #PEP #Resilience #Inspiration

Volunteer Engagement Coordinator at Prison Entrepreneurship Program

My life’s path hasn’t been an easy one. Coming from a violent, gang-related past and facing extradition from Mexico back to the U.S., I thought my chances for a fresh start were slim. But God, put Phi Tran and Prison Entrepreneurship Program, an organization that not only believes in second chances but lives by that principle, back in my life. See, I was part of the first group of graduate hires by PEP when it first commenced, but I fell short and lost my path due to not being fully surrendered to God. However, after finally surrendering my life to Christ, He answered my prayers, opened doors, and led me back to PEP. I am proud to say that I have been back with PEP for over a year now as the Volunteer Engagement Coordinator. PEP doesn’t just encourage others to hire its graduates; it leads by example. With their support, I’ve been able to turn my life back around, find my purpose again, and rebuild that which I had destoryed. Thank you, PEP, for believing in me and giving me the opportunity to prove that change is possible. Together, we can create a brighter future for all. #SecondChances #PEP #Transformation #NewBeginnings #FaithJourney
