Happy international non-binary people's day! Today we want to take a moment to shine a light on our non-binary loved ones as they are an integral part of the LGBTQ community falling under the trans umbrella. Non-binary is a term used to describe someone who does not identify with male or female genders but instead feels like they exists somewhere in-between. Have a fantastic day celebrating you - just the way you are!

Meet Stuart! Our newest business development representative in the Chicago area. We are so excited to have the opportunity to spread the word about culturally specific treatment programs right next door in Illinois! Stuart Morrical has a diverse work experience spanning over many years. Stuart started in the Pharmaceutical Industry and worked successfully in Business Development for many years. After being impacted by a close family member who was affected by substance use disorder (SUD), Stuart entered the recovery field in 2017 for a chance to support his loved one. He has worked with great vigor and enthusiasm as a Business and Marketing Representative ever since! In 2024 Stuart was hired by The Pride Institute to fulfill two passions: Help educate the community about culturally specific healthcare programs, and to successfully place clients into recovery programs that meet their individual needs. He is overjoyed at the opportunity to now work with LGBTQ clients struggling with addiction. Stuart obtained a B.S. degree Life Sciences from Middle Tennessee State University between 1988 and 1993. In addition Stuart is a proud Veteran of The US Army. Stuarts passion for SUD and the LGBTQ industry is paralleled together to help people sustain healthy and happy lives.

As a member of the LGBTQ community, Director of Nursing, Meena reflects on what Pride month means to her. Taking time to remember what Pride Month represents is important so we don't lose sight of all we have accomplished and all the work we still have yet to do. Hope you all are having a great June!
