Our team had the opportunity this month to learn about the Surfrider Foundation San Diego County, an organization dedicated to protecting and enjoying the world’s oceans, waves, and beaches for all people. 🌊 So far in 2024, they have collected over 300,000 items of trash from beaches all over the country! Their efforts are crucial in protecting our marine environment and coastlines for future generations. As the 5th of July is known as the dirtiest beach day of the year, it’s crucial for all of us to be mindful and take extra care to keep our shores clean. We’re excited to welcome our newest summer interns, Bailee Sheets and Braedan Brooks, to Preferred! Bailee, a rising senior at UC Davis, is majoring in Psychology and Communication. As a PEI Campus Intern, she will rotate through various internal departments, as well as help with project work for various departments. Braedan, a rising senior at UC Boulder, is majoring in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. Our new branding won a Sandie Award! 🏆 The Sandie Awards recognizes the best marketing work in the Greater San Diego area produced during 2023.
