On Saturday Portsmouth Economic Development hosted the inaugural Shop The Block High Street Festival! The day was full of music, art, business activations, shopping, eating, kids activities, a fashion show, a pitch competition and so much more. Yesterday, July 9, 2024, staff from Economic Development alongside elected City officials had the pleasure of welcoming and celebrating the grand opening of GTT Commercial Tires with a ribbon cutting ceremony! The Mayor spoke on how the two owners started their company with just seven used tires in a garage and now have three locations: Portsmouth, Petersburg, and Richmond.
