Although we’re one of the Southeast’s leading steel fabricators, we are proud to be known for more than fabricating steel. Our mission is to improve lives and lead by example. We understand that fabricating steel, whether a building or only the stairs and rails, is about a lot more than welding pieces of steel together; we recognize that each beam supports a greater structure, and every set of stairs allows people to access that structure to serve others with a greater purpose. Our services and products are only the vehicles that allow us and every stakeholder to positively impact others. Further, the profit we generate is used to build Porter Steel, invest in our families, and to give back to others. Again, steel is our vehicle, but improving lives and leading by example is our purpose. Since 1983 from humble beginnings, Porter Steel, Inc. has successfully served customers throughout Georgia, and is now servicing projects across the Southeastern United States. Our customers include many fellow structural fabricators, value-minded general contractors, and owner-developers who need our direct expertise. Offering forty-plus years of experience, producing top-quality fabrication of structural steel, miscellaneous metals, and high-end architectural metals and glass, provides peace-of-mind to both the building and design communities. Beyond fabrication, our growing field operations group erects and installs what we build.     Exciting Update at Mercedes-Benz Stadium! 🏟️ We're thrilled to share our latest updates at the iconic Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta! • Conversion of the former Molly B's restaurant • Creating two new premium spaces: The Chairman's Lounge and Stadium Club • 4,000-square-foot transformation on the 100-level concourse 🦾 A huge shoutout to Porter Steel, Inc. for their exceptional work in fabricating and erecting the stairs. Their expertise shone through as we delivered the access stairs last Thursday and successfully completed installation yesterday. This multi-million-dollar renovation will be ready to welcome fans for the 2024 NFL and college football seasons this August. We're proud to contribute to enhancing the fan experience at this world-class venue. More updates to come as we approach the scheduled completion next month. The mixed-use community consists of 264 residential apartment units spread across two buildings of 5-story, Type IIIA construction on top of a 1-story concrete podium of Type IA construction.     Did you know? The Beltline will have 17.9 miles of continuous paved trail before the World Cup in 2026. Reeves Young is proud to play a role in the completion of this milestone. Our team is currently working on the Atlanta Beltline Southside Trail. Check out the progress being made on the pedestrian bridge located along United Avenue for segment 4&5. This trail segment runs from Boulevard to Glenwood and is 1.2 miles long. #whyRY Atlanta BeltLine

    This week's #flyRY project is located in Sandy Springs, Georgia. Reeves Young is currently providing Construction Management at Risk services for renovating an existing 4-story, 106,678 SF office building to house the police headquarters and municipal court facility. The facility will contain a sallyport and holding cells, physical agility training, defensive tactics training, multipurpose training and multipurpose room, community room, courtroom, court administration and judge’s chambers, armory and ammunition storage, and an evidence lab.
