This morning we’re announcing the best quarterly sales in PCNA’s history. In Q2 retail deliveries totaled 21,304 cars – a rise of 13% YoY – made possible by outstanding performances; for example, in June the 911 – the very core of Porsche – achieved its best month ever in the US!   Behind the numbers, there are many new and existing owners. If you’re reading this, and you’re one of them; thank you; and welcome, from each and every one of us at Porsche, to the beginning of what we hope will be a wonderful journey. Please know, supporting you is not only the team here at PCNA but also over 200 independently owned and operated Porsche Centers across America, each focused on the details to ensure your experience is every bit as special as your new car.   These results in Q2 go a long way to balancing out our supply-constrained Q1 – with our overall performance for H1 being just 4% behind where we were this time in 2023. With the first sales of the all-new, all-electric Macan due to begin this fall, to be joined by the new 911 Carrera and GTS before year end, and the new Panamera and new Taycan arriving in greater volume, the next months are already looking busy.   As ever, this has been a team effort – and I’m grateful to everyone, both here and in Germany (you know who you are!), who gave everything to support our customers. This week we welcomed Oliver Blume, Lutz Meschke, Detlev von Platen, Dr. Sebastian Rudolph, Björn Scheib and members of their teams to our U.S. home in Atlanta. An invigorating two days during which we explored new ideas, reflected on our year so far and looked forwards with optimism and renewed energy – all with a focus on our customers.   This coincided with the news that Porsche has achieved the Number One position in the luxury segment of the J.D. Power 2024 U.S. Initial Quality Study – which measures the first 90 days of vehicle ownership.   We are, as a team – both in the U.S. and in Germany – proud and grateful to receive this recognition, which is the result of our relentless commitment to quality. My personal congratulations go out to our incredible network of Porsche Centers across the U.S. who gave their all – striving for every experience to be exceptional. Today we’re announcing that, from July 2nd, John Cappella will be Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Porsche Cars North America. He replaces Joe Lawrence, who is leaving PCNA on his own accord. Joe, who has spent 15 years at Porsche – 11 of which were at PCNA – will be leaving to, among other things, pursue more fully his love of the outdoors and his classic 968. “I cannot adequately express the difference Joe has made to our business in more than a decade leading our operations. He leaves PCNA on a high, with record customer satisfaction, sales results and investment in our business,” said Timo Resch, President and CEO, Porsche Cars North America. “John Cappella is not only acutely aware of, and experienced in, our business and our dealer operations, but also has proven his ability to build, energize and sustain a thriving team and business in his role in Canada. We look forward to welcoming John to our home in Atlanta.” “I’m honored to be rejoining the fantastic and passionate team at PCNA and to lead the operational side of the business at a fascinating time at Porsche,” said John Cappella. “I look forward to supporting our dealers and our customers through every step of our bold future.” Congratulations John, and welcome back to PCNA!    Learn more about John in our newsroom https://lnkd.in/et--F9gC   #PorschePassion #DrivenByDreams

Making weekend plans? We have a suggestion. Porsche is back in action in “Bad Boys: Ride or Die”. In the Sony Pictures Entertainment film, now playing exclusively in cinemas around the world, the 992-generation Porsche 911 Turbo S was given the perfect supporting role in the action-comedy – making this the third time that a sports car from Zuffenhausen has played a part in the hit franchise. #BadBoysRideorDie #PorschePassion #911TurboS Visit our newsroom to learn more: https://lnkd.in/eaBRQmwJ

🏁 These behind-the-scenes photographs taken during scrutineering weekend ahead of the 24 Hours of Le Mans show the anticipation building as teams prepare for the legendary race, which begins this Saturday. Inside the Porsche Penske Motorsport garage, the crew is meticulously preparing the three Porsche 963 hypercars.   The atmosphere at Le Mans is unique, and Porsche fans worldwide are eagerly anticipating the race which will see the trio of 963 racers attempt to travel approximately 2,900 miles in 24 hours – the equivalent of driving from New York to San Francisco – flat out. Spurring them on, it’s been announced that this year the Porsche team will raise 750 euros (over $800) for each lap they complete to be split among three initiatives supporting seriously ill children and their families. #Raceborn #Porsche963 #911GT3R Team Penske
