This is what it means to "love on" our coworkers and clients. A workplace that invites curiosity and appreciation for cultures and traditions from near and far creates an environment where everyone feels known and valued. Yesterday Charlotte Third Street Office Leader Joydeep Patel, Financial Specialist Sachi Patel and Credit Advisor Nikki Patel invited their teammates to experience Diwali, the Hindu “Festival of Lights,” complete with traditional decorations, dress, candles, dance, rangoli designs on the floor and an authentic Indian lunch. Today, our Lexington, NC, team, led by Janie Kennedy, is celebrating Dia de los Muertos, the Mexican annual holiday that honors the memory and life of loved ones who have passed on. Clients have stopped to take photos with the backdrop of our decorations, touched that the firm is recognizing a holiday that is special to them. #tellmeyourtraditions #diversity #inclusion #celebration #diwali #diadelosmuertos #letyourlightshine

Some leaders have an intrinsic gift for bringing people closer together. Office Leader, superconnector and Middle Tennessee DEI Council Leader Courtney Chavez has that gift, and yesterday she was celebrated at Nashville Business Journal's Leaders in Diversity Awards. Here's a video with a few words from her: https://lnkd.in/eC-Wep8F Congratulations, Courtney! Thank you for using your influence to weave diversity, equity and inclusion into everything we do so that every single Pinnacle associate feels known and valued as part of the firm and motivated to do the same for our clients and the community. #strongertogether #seatatthetable #passthemic

Pinnacle is a very different kind of firm - with a vision to be the best place to work so our clients have the best place to bank. This week we celebrated 24 years of maintaining a culture of care and support for each other so we can be ourselves and do great things for our clients. Associates enjoyed visits by our "tour bus," parties and lip sync battles in Charlotte, NC, and Nashville, TN, and theme days throughout the week under the tagline, "Yo, Pinnacle Rocks!" All of it is put on by our associate and client experience team plus a slew of volunteers from nearly every area of the firm. So it's home-grown, planned all year long, and executed by the creative talents of the organizers with the help of our culture clubs. Many thanks to our founders, CEO Terry Turner and Rob McCabe for building a firm like no other, where associates say, "There's no place I'd rather be."

The results are in from Captive International, and we're proud to take home the top pairing in the banking services category! Pinnacle was named Bank of the Year, thanks to the work of our captive expert, Michael Corbett, who won Banker of the Year. This is the first appearance for the firm and the second time Corbett received this recognition, first earning the accolade in 2022. Learn more at https://lnkd.in/gZ3FTNkR "This award is not just a reflection of my efforts, but also of the incredible support and collaboration I’ve received from my team and Pinnacle as a firm," said Corbett. Michael and his team of Tom Blanchard and David Shamblin, CTFA have built Pinnacle's advisory practice in captives from scratch, and the firm's associates have partnered to build relationships with clients who can benefit from captive services. Since the start of this effort in 2020, Pinnacle's captive deposits have exceeded $1 billion and continue to grow with supporting captives in the reinsurance area as a key objective. #captiveinsurance #expertbankers #effectiveadvice
