Yesterday Charlotte Third Street Office Leader Joydeep Patel, Financial Specialist Sachi Patel and Credit Advisor Nikki Patel invited their teammates to experience Diwali, the Hindu “Festival of Lights,” complete with traditional decorations, dress, candles, dance, rangoli designs on the floor and an authentic Indian lunch. Today, our Lexington, NC, team, led by Janie Kennedy, is celebrating Dia de los Muertos, the Mexican annual holiday that honors the memory and life of loved ones who have passed on. Pinnacle is a very different kind of firm - with a vision to be the best place to work so our clients have the best place to bank. This week we celebrated 24 years of maintaining a culture of care and support for each other so we can be ourselves and do great things for our clients. Associates enjoyed visits by our "tour bus," parties and lip sync battles in Charlotte, NC, and Nashville, TN, and theme days throughout the week under the tagline, "Yo, Pinnacle Rocks!" All of it is put on by our associate and client experience team plus a slew of volunteers from nearly every area of the firm. So it's home-grown, planned all year long, and executed by the creative talents of the organizers with the help of our culture clubs. The results are in from Captive International, and we're proud to take home the top pairing in the banking services category! Pinnacle was named Bank of the Year, thanks to the work of our captive expert, Michael Corbett, who won Banker of the Year. This is the first appearance for the firm and the second time Corbett received this recognition, first earning the accolade in 2022. Our Atlanta PEER Center just opened yesterday morning, and they've already welcomed their first client, Covenant Community, Inc.! Covenant is a nonprofit organization that provides intensive residential support to men recovering from being unhoused, alcohol abuse and substance use disorders. Covenant is a neighbor to our PEER Center, located at 384 Northyards Blvd. NW, Suite 150. This is the beginning of a great partnership, with financial wellness classes for the men they serve already in the works. There's no better way to learn about the tremendous contributions of farmers and agribusiness to our communities across the U.S. than spending a day on the farm. For its Agri-Business Day, the Leadership Bowling Green Class of '25 recently visited Western Kentucky University's Ag Farm, Chaney's Dairy Barn and Wright Implement, with panelists from Farm Credit Mid-America, Southern States Cooperative, Warren County Extension Office, and Spinks Farms and Trucking LLC.
