Field Photo Friday: This week one of our crews were remonumenting the east line of the Fort Vancouver Center. Remonumenting is essentially installing a marker where: 1) the existing marker doesn't meet minimum standards; 2) the existing marker is in danger of becoming "lost" or "obliterated;" or 3) the corner has been "lost". Benefits include: Reducing the cost of surveys, reduces the number of boundary dispute, and also makes GIS and surveys more accurate.
