IATF formalizes in an official statement the start of the revision process of the IAFT 16949:2016 - Automotive Quality Management System standard, and it is confirmed that the new version is expected to be published after the ISO 9001:2015 update, which is planned for September 2026. The IATF has published a document providing answers to questions related to the sixth edition of the Rules submitted by IATF-recognized certification bodies during this transition period. I attended the conclusion of IAQG's 56th General Assembly in Tokyo. It was an informative event, featuring updates on new and revised standards, as well as opportunities to connect with customers and partners. Congratulations to the INTERNATIONAL AEROSPACE QUALITY GROUP for hosting another engaging and enlightening event. Exciting developments are on the horizon for 2025, including the anticipated release of the IA9101, IA9104-series, and IA9145 standards (and more), along with the corresponding IAQG-approved training programs. Qualifying training in partnership with the STELLANTIS Group STELLANTIS has defined and adapted the APQP and PPAP processes to manage the quality of its suppliers throughout development and mass production phases. New APQP PPAP STELLANTIS v2022 is based on the merging of ex-PSA and ex-FCA standards.    Training qualification is mandatory for STELLANTIS suppliers’ Project Managers and Quality Managers assigned to a vehicle project applying the new STELLANTIS standards.    NOTE: Look at RFQ package to know APQP standard to apply for your project, APQP PPAP ex-PSA v2015 or New APQP PPAP STLA v2022.
