Surrounded by our valued customers, suppliers, and local dignitaries, our Plexus Malaysia team recently celebrated the groundbreaking of their sixth facility in Bandar Cassia Technology Park. The new state-of-the-art facility, Plexus Bridgeview, will be located on 20 acres, encompassing 560,000 square feet of infrastructure to support growth in the Asia-Pacific region. The facility will also support Malaysia’s New Industrial Master Plan 2030 (NIMP2023) while creating an estimated 1,800 new jobs. Congratulations to our Plexus Malaysia team on this incredible new endeavor in service to our vision to help create the products that build a better world.

We are star struck seeing Bevi’s newest user, Bill Nye the Science Guy! Bevi Standup 2.0 water dispensers are manufactured by Plexus and offset millions of plastic bottles from landfills, as well as reducing emissions from bottle shipments. National Hire a Vet Day, observed annually on July 25th, is an important occasion for organizations to honor and support Veterans by providing them with meaningful employment opportunities. We were proud to host the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce July Business After Hours event at our Global Headquarters in Neenah, Wisconsin. It was a fantastic opportunity to come together as a community to network, share ideas, and learn more about the transformative products we design, manufacture, or service. Team members from our Penang, Malaysia facility hosted a successful multi-day event dedicated to enhancing EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety) and Sustainable and Responsible business practice awareness. Each day focused on a different theme that encouraged active participation to emphasize how each employee can promote a safer, healthier and more sustainable workplace. Through their efforts, team members were able to achieve a 558 KWh energy reduction, fulfill 173 blood donations, identify hazards in an interactive safety test and more! #EHS

We are proud of Plexus team members Heather Beresford and Lalu Beré for their recent appointments to the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center (FCPAC) Board of Directors. Heather, senior vice president of sustaining services, who joined the FCPAC board in 2021, will serve as the Vice Chair for the 2024-2025 season. She commented, “The FCPAC, a multicultural gathering place, was built by the community for the community. They help create an inclusive space where guests can explore diverse expressions of art and ideas, sparking an innovative environment where we can all grow.
