In celebration of National Intern Day, Plastomics is excited to celebrate our wonderful summer intern, Erica S! Erica is currently a rising sophomore in the BME program at WashU. For her internship, she has been working with our Soy Discovery team for the past several weeks. During this time, she has been busy learning many new skills in both tissue culture and the plant transformation process. She also been sharing her own ideas with us which have helped us out as well. We see a bright future ahead for her and can't wait to watch her career flourish! Thank you, Erica, for the opportunity to mentor you this summer!
