Those of you who know me have likely heard my stories of working on the NYC 2012 Olympic Bid and how it laid the groundwork for the New York City we know today. An article came out in the NYT today that openly discussed how challenging and problematic the games can be for a city. That said, it did always seem like NYC won out by losing the Olympics to London. NYU Wagner created a great overview of how NYC turned that loss into a win showing how this work very directly presaged today’s New York. https://lnkd.in/eBzhrNNS
