Ajax TOCCO Magnethermic offers an exclusive induction heating solution for shrinking valve seats in cylinder heads allowing them to be removed with much less force than alternative methods. Extraction force can be reduced by 10X or more. The reduced extraction force reduces/eliminates parent bore head material from being removed with the seat, maintaining proper interference fit dimensions and increasing the number of times a core can be remanufactured.

Summer has started. Pillar Induction recommends taking a moment to prepare your water cooling and quench systems for the warm summer months. This includes: -Water Quality Check, reference equipment manual for requirements -Cooler Inspection, including make-up water, clearance around the cooler, signs of damage, clear debris from fall and winter from cooler -Clean Filters and Strainers, check inventory for replacement filters -Check for Leaks, make sure all fittings and hose connections are tight -Check Back-Up Systems, including batteries.
