Icing events have a large impact on wind power generation. Pileus technology predict icing events with a precision well over 90% which help to drastically reduce imbalancing costs and improve ice mittigation. The tecchnology uses on site measurements, machine learning and large weather data sets to securily predict icing events, which then is used to improve build in de-icing systems.
