Originally, they thought that the molds would have to be replaced entirely which could potentially cost tens of thousands of dollars. They reached out to us to see if we could help. Phoenix took control of the molds and our skilled team meticulously cleaned them and completed testing to ensure compatibility and functionality on our injection molding machines. We’re proud to report that we successfully cleaned the molds, and the next step will be a comprehensive evaluation to determine if they can still be used for manufacturing the required plastic parts. Phoenix Electric Mfg. Co. continues to ramp up product shipments from our new building including our first UPS pickup on their new daily route. We also ran our first compression parts a little more than a week after they ran their last parts in the old building.
