    At Pharmavite, we are committed to helping people live healthier lives and we’re proud to partner with organizations that share this belief, such as Healthy New Albany. Recently, our team in New Albany sponsored Healthy New Albany’s Walking Classic®, the nation’s largest competitive walking event, as it celebrated its 20th anniversary. Since its inception, the event has been responsible for the development of health-related programs and services that have benefited people of all ages in the community and beyond. During the event, Pharmavite was the Worksite Wellness Champion team, meaning we had the greatest number of entries in the 50-249 employees category. Brian Vogel, Justin Reife, MSHCM, and Paul Palmer represented Pharmavite at our booth, engaging with the local community on our purpose, career opportunities and more.     At Pharmavite, we know that diverse teams make the best teams, and that diversity and inclusion are vital for delivering our purpose to bring the gift of health to life. As part of this commitment, Pharmavite is proud to sponsor HBCU CONNECT, an organization that serves the needs of 107 HBCU students and alumni across the U.S. by providing a platform for networking, professional opportunities, educational opportunities, and connections with over 400 employers and community partners. Most recently, Pharmavite participated in HBCU Connect’s 25th Anniversary Annual Conference and Career Fair, which allowed the Pharmavite team to connect with talented and diverse students and alumni from historically black colleges and universities across the country. We had meaningful conversations with potential candidates about Pharmavite's mission, values, and culture, and how they can make a difference in the health and wellness industry. In addition, we supported HBCU’s 5K walk/run that highlighted the importance of improving the health and wellbeing of under-represented communities.     Recently, Pharmavite’s team in New Albany, Ohio participated in Pelotonia’s annual Ride Weekend to help raise funds for innovative cancer research. The New Albany team led by Brian Vogel proudly repped Pharmavite throughout the weekend by participating in the ride and managing our onsite booth, joining 7,000 riders, 3,000 volunteers and thousands of onlookers for the weekend’s festivities. Saturday, August 3, was the first official ride day of the week and riding for team Pharmavite was Betty Emmons, Brian Vogel, Julianne Renz and Mark Sanford who collectively rode over 140 miles for Pelotonia. Additionally, Pharmavite employees handed out over 2,000 bags with Nature Made® products, sponsored a water station at the Granville rest stop, where our employees cheered on Pelotonia riders, and fostered new relationships in the community as we prepare for the opening of our newest manufacturing facility in New Albany. Pharmavite is proud to join New Albany, and is committed to giving back to the local community. To that end, Pharmavite is supporting Pelotonia with a two-year commitment at the Notable Funding Partner level and is also a sponsor of the Pelotonia Volunteer program.     Recently, Nature Made®, in partnership with the Council for Responsible Nutrition (CRN), attended the national American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) annual meeting in San Francisco. Nature Made participated alongside other wellness companies in CRN’s specially designed “Prenatal Nutrition Center” booth to provide health care professionals (HCPs) with the education, resources and tools needed to understand and support the safe use of prenatal supplements during pregnancy. At the booth, members of our Medical and Scientific Communications team, Melissa Dorval Pine, RDN, Kalyn Williams, RDN and Sandra Zagorin MS, RD , hosted a vitamin gummy sampling station and distributed infographics of Pharmavite’s recent scientific publications and informational handouts for healthcare professionals. In addition, Nature Made helped sponsor the Product Theater session, “Front and Center with Prenatal Supplements: What the Science Says, and What HCPs Need to Know”. The session featured esteemed speakers Dr. Kecia Gaither, MD, MPH, MS, MBA, FACOG, FAIUM, and Dr. Michael I McBurney, PhD, FASN, FCNS-SCN, who discussed the science behind prenatal supplements and what healthcare providers need to know to advise their patients effectively. This session was highly attended, and OBGYNs who participated received full-sized Nature Made Choline gummy vitamin bottles.
