Little Sega's cries didn't just echo through the neighborhood; they led to his rescue. 🐈 A Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) staff member, living nearby and off-duty, was told about the kitten and managed to coordinate with neighbors to save him. Sega was brought back to PAWS, but he didn’t have to wait long to find his loving home. Within just 4 days of being at the rescue, adopters, Dylan and Tanner, decided to make Sega their own. This week, our team had the privilege of participating in the Best Friends Animal Welfare Conference, advocating for change and innovation in animal welfare. During the conference, we hosted the Industry Newcomer Meetup with KONG Company to celebrate and connect with new members of the animal welfare industry. As part of the fun, we even stuffed and donated KONGs to Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando. Thank you, Best Friends Animal Society, for an unforgettable few days!
