Visibility into how go-to-market teams had engaged with buyers in the past, who was involved in conversations, and how much time was needed to foster that engagement into real opportunities was necessary to successfully transform the strategy.     According to Forrester, only 35% of B2B marketing leaders and 33% of B2B sales leaders expect budgetary increases of 5% or higher in 2025. With that in mind, here's where the firm recommends GTM teams should invest in the coming months: 1. Double down on customer data unification and hygiene. Organizations need to invest in solutions that unify data, support hygiene and enrichment, and perform ID resolution. 2. Squeeze out duplicative capabilities in best-of-breed solutions. B2B revenue tech stacks have grown unwieldy. It's time to pare down and spend money on the solutions that hold up to their promises. 3. Quit trying to scale chaos. Also, they can quickly become outdated if your systems aren't truly connected. The solution: Real-time updates with People.ai's Relationship Maps. Contact capture automatically creates the contacts and prompts you to add them to your account's Relationship Map in a couple clicks. You can include lines of influence, positive and negative relationships with other stakeholders, and see their last engagement. This is true stakeholder and influence mapping that is fast and actually valuable. The impact: By simplifying relationship mapping and keeping the task in my CRM, Erik can validate engagement with key buyer personas and deeply understand the roles of stakeholders (including their inferred win rate and predicted purchasing power).
