The 🎾 U.S. Open Tennis Tournament starts today. 🤔 Can #tennisballs can be #recycled? Pellitteri cannot #recycle tennis balls in our single-stream curbside #recycling system; 🚫 please do not put tennis balls in your recycling cart or dumpster. 💡 However, there is a great organization called Recycle Balls that does recycle tennis balls! Some of the tennis balls are ground up and the #felt is separated from the #rubber and used in the construction of tennis courts, 🐎 horse footing and other products. 🚫 There is no curbside collection for #propanetanks; they are considered household ☣️ #hazardouswaste and can start 🔥 fires. 🚫 Do not place in your #trash or #recycling cart or #dumpster. Many county #cleansweep programs will take full or partially full, small (1 lb) cylinder #propane #tanks. For larger propane tanks, most places that #refill them will 🔄 take them back, but please call ahead to confirm. A #metal #recycler may take them if drained, valves off, and depressurized.
