We are deeply saddened by the news of the passing of Kim Novak, president of the UFCW Local 1518. Kim garnered the respect of all those she worked with, building solid and mutually respectful relationships with people at all levels of our organization: in our stores, amongst our labour relations team, and with the most senior leaders in our company. We send our sympathies to her family, friends and the UFCW 1518 team at this incredibly difficult time.
