Creating technology to support skilled trades
About us
Path Robotics was founded by brothers Andy and Alex Lonsberry with a desire to help fill workforce gaps in the manufacturing industry. At Path Robotics, we understand manufacturers are constantly being asked to do more with less; more reshoring, more demand, and more requirements with less time, less talent, and less tolerance. We’re helping guide the Fourth Industrial Revolution in manufacturing by providing robotic support to help keep up with those challenges. Our welding robots absorb high-volume, repetitive tasks by leveraging AI and machine learning. By doing this, we’re putting humans in safe, productive environments that allows manufacturers to increase productivity and grow their business.

Hot takes from our own Alexandra Hagmeyer (Dauterman) on the future of manufacturing.
Director of Operations- Path Robotics | Building the future of manufacturing by leading operational strategy.
Insights from the Reindustrialize Conference: The Future of Manufacturing Three weeks ago, I had the privilege of attending the Reindustrialize Conference in Detroit, where the convergence of advanced technology and venture capital was palpable. The key takeaway? SaaS is seeing decreased investments as venture capital shifts focus to integrated software and hardware solutions. This trend is set to drive significant reshoring efforts in manufacturing. This shift is precisely why I joined Path Robotics. We are tackling a challenging problem in a critical space, and I firmly believe that leveraging advanced technology will be pivotal in reshaping the manufacturing landscape in America. With tariffs on steel increasing from 7.5% to 25%, the necessity for value-added, efficient manufacturing using AI and machine learning has never been clearer. This strategic move will be instrumental in helping America secure its position in the global economic arena, especially considering that China currently dominates 90% of the manufacturing sector. Moreover, manufacturing can learn a great deal from the best practices of product development, including the ability to iterate and leverage software best practices. By integrating these methodologies, we can enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and drive significant innovation. It's time we moved technology out of mere "toy" applications and harnessed its power for real, ROI-driven results. By focusing on practical and impactful technological integration, we can drive significant advancements in the industry and ensure a robust future for American manufacturing.
