“We know our students want good jobs, and we know that they know that they need the right credentials to get access to those great jobs,” said Brian Jeffries, our policy director here at Partnership for Learning. “So we need to eliminate as many barriers as possible for all of our students, but especially those who have great economic need." 📊 Gallup study highlights the impact of cost on college completion 📊 The recent Gallup study reveals that cost and work conflicts are the leading reasons students are dropping out of college. #FinancialAid plays a critical role in helping students achieve their educational goals. It's essential for students to know that help is available, and that they may qualify for aid. The WA College Grant is one of the most generous financial aid programs in the country and can be applied to certificate programs, job training, apprenticeships, or college. Our goal is to ensure that 70% of WA students earn a post-high school credential by the high school class of 2030. Let's make this a reality by encouraging students to #DoTheFAFSA! Bahadir is heading to University of Washington Bothell in the fall to do just that. 📚🎓 Read his story https://lnkd.in/gDHeHNgf #BoeingInspires Kent School District Boeing

💡#STEMSigningDay’s Daniel Bekele has a message for students worried about entering a STEM field, where they don’t see a lot of people who look like them: “As a first-generation African American, I understand that feeling,” he said, adding “rest assured, you are valued and needed in STEM fields. Throughout my journey, I’ve found supportive communities, mentors, and resources that have helped me navigate challenges and celebrate successes.”🎓 Read Daniel’s inspiring story here: https://lnkd.in/gvUWY5TR #BoeingInspires
