Naturally, the collateral backing of a Stablecoin has a direct impact on its risk profile. MakerDAO, the issuer of the largest decentralised stablecoin (DAI), recently elected to allow USDe and sUSDe as collateral which have a different risk profile to the assets which were backing DAI beforehand.
