Kitsap Transit recently held a grand opening for the new Silverdale Transit Center. The facility features the region's first wireless in-ground bus charging system, eight bus bays, stormwater management facilities, ADA-accessible site improvements, sidewalks, bike lanes, bike storage, and a dedicated on-ramp for buses onto State Route 303.
