Meet our wonderful A-Team P5G member, Nancy Adams: Hometown: Louisville KY & Melbourne FL   Being from Kentucky, what is your favorite racehorse of all time? My initial reaction was Barbaro (2006 Kentucky Derby winner) because I was at the Derby and won a lot of money on that horse!! However, when I really thought about it my favorite would have to be Secretariat because he was an underdog that surprised the world. I love that story! What lesson are you most grateful for learning?   Contentment. I learned this from my mom even though she wasn’t aware she taught me. When she passed away, I boxed up box after box of “things” that she had purchased to make her happy and bring her contentment – but they didn’t do that. They ended up in boxes, sold at a garage sale or given away. Happy doesn’t come from money or things. Contentment is a choice. What’s your favorite way to spend a day off?  Taking a long walk on the beach in the morning with my amazing husband, John. With a stop afterwards at Surfinista , a funky little coffee shop in Indiatlantic FL, for an Acia bowl. On the way home we would grab some fresh grouper from our favorite fish monger so I could cook a nice, healthy dinner. If we were up for it, we would take our mini-goldendoodle, Sammy, to the beach with us – he loves it but gets extremely messy and a bit crazy! But he’s loads of fun to watch! What's your most-used app on your phone? It’s tight race between texts and email. What’s your go-to playlist on a road trip? I listen to books on a road-trip! I find it makes the time go so much quicker!!! The last book I listened to was called “Tom Lake” and is set in the Traverse City area of Michigan. Meryl Streep did the reading, and she was utterly phenomenal! If I did listen to a playlist, it would be “70’s Road Trip” on Spotify 😊 Which coworker would you pick to be stranded on a deserted island with and why? Emily Branch!! We are planners and think alike – we would be well prepared for whatever comes our way!!

It's time to meet Sierra G.. Learn more about Par 5 Group's fabulous Experience Manager... Hometown: Discovery Bay, CA   What was your favorite summer job? Interning for the San Francisco Giants Community Fund. I loved the experience of working with my favorite hometown team and seeing how sport can positively benefit and give back to the community that supports them.   As a Napa resident, what’s your go to wine? Merlot   Who is your most influential role model right now? My mom. She is currently rehabbing from full body paralysis. Her continued mental strength, determination, and positivity each day is beyond inspiring. She’s a constant reminder to take nothing for granted and to make the most of any situation you are presented. She pushes me to be the best version of myself every day.   What’s your favorite way to spend a day off? I love being outside and exploring new areas. My ideal day off is being near water with a good book and a glass of wine   What is your favorite book and why? The Steve Jobs biography. I find Steve Jobs’ life and career fascinating. He was a brilliant visionary who revolutionized technology & the digital industry but was also a ruthless tyrant who was impossible to work for. Growing up in the bay area, Jobs was interconnected to many people and aspects in my life. I love exploring the genius that Jobs was, the dichotomies he embodied, and the legacy he leaves behind.

Learn more about Par5Group’s Operations Director, Zach DeCicco!   Hometown: Coppell, Texas What was your favorite summer job? Working with my dad’s construction company What was the greatest sport you’ve been a part of? Winning a state high school football championship and watching my brother play in his first NFL game. What is your favorite book and why? I’m not much of a reader. But I’ll go with Blue, Barry, & Pancakes. It’s my daughter Lunas favorite book and she makes me read it to her every night. I pretty much have it memorized. Par 5 Group memory: Miami – year 1. Everyone from Par 5 Group was there for it. What is your favorite quote? "The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, the education, the money, than circumstances, than failure, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company... a church... a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past... we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude. I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% of how I react to it. And so, it is with you... we are in charge of our Attitudes." Par 5 Group
