Since 1957, the Palatine Jaycees has been a group of active young citizens (21 to 40) providing leadership development and community service opportunities to its members. And, best of all, we have a ton of fun doing it! Involvement in the Palatine Jaycees is a great way to meet new people, build new friendships, learn new skills and make a positive impact in Palatine. The Palatine Jaycees hold their monthly meetings the third Thursday of the month at Durty Nellies in Palatine at 7:30 pm. Our resident entrepreneurs are excited to share their recent initiative . . . #CanDoCoffee! ☕ Coffee is a passion for a majority of our clients and residents, and this project was driven by their desire to start their own coffee cart! Thanks to a generous start-up donation from the Palatine Jaycees (❤️), the #CanDoCoffee cart is now operating on campus - serving their first customers last Friday at CEBO! This initiative will be used as an opportunity for individuals to train, sharpen their customer service skills, and prepare them for future community-based employment!
