About us
Outdoor Afro is a national not-for-profit organization that celebrates and inspires Black connections and leadership in nature. POOLSIDE REPORT: We've funded nearly 500 kids caregivers to learn basic swimming techniques through our Making Waves program. As we strive to reach our 2024 goal of teaching 1,500 new swimmers by the end of the year, we could use your continued support. By contributing $200 here (https://bit.ly/3tNelHQ), you can cover a series of four to six lessons. #OutdoorAfro #MakingWaves

You do not need to have an afro to participate in our community and nature work. We are particularly looking for experienced and innovation-minded board members who can give time and resources toward governance, strategy, fundraising, and network-building. Candidates in all regions of the country are invited to learn more and apply at this link (https://bit.ly/3YaQChH). We welcome anyone with a passion to support our work.
