It’s an honor knowing that the value and potential of our #technology have been acknowledged by a jury of subject matter experts and professionals from major industry players and the academic environment from the US, Australia, Canada, and Europe. We're thrilled to announce that Osmoses is among the winners of the MassVentures START program! Funded by the Commonwealth and managed by MassVentures, the SBIR Targeted Technologies (START) grant program helps startups convert research developed under SBIR (Small Business Innovation Research) and STTR (Small Business Technology Transfer) contracts into viable businesses in Massachusetts. Stage 1 of this program has accelerated Osmoses' path from lab bench research to #fabrication, and Stage 2 will support #scale up and #piloting. The START program doesn’t only provide financial support but also offers business guidance, such as  pitch #coaching, #mentoring, and introductions to #investors, to help companies commercialize their technologies. We are excited to be part of this visionary program and the innovative ecosystem it has been helping creating here in #Massachusetts. With great excitement and pride we announce that Osmoses is among the awardees of the NGIF Accelerator’s Global Cleantech Challenge! NGIF, through the Industry Grants program, backed by 14 leading energy companies, will be providing crucial #funding to support the development and demonstration of innovative #clean #technologies worldwide.   This will be an invaluable opportunity for Osmoses to forge new partnerships and strengthen our #value #proposition through field testing. Osmoses' #pilot will focus on designing, testing and qualifying membrane modules for biogas purification applications. Purifying biogas to produce #renewable #natural #gas (RNG) is one of the clearest paths to decarbonize the utility sector. Lowering the cost and carbon intensity associated with producing RNG is key to accelerating projects to build production facilities and to utilities adopting the alternative fuel. “This funding boosts Osmoses towards commercialization by demonstrating technology and economics in the field and accelerating our contribution to the net-zero vision,” said our CEO Francesco Maria Benedetti.   This achievement is the culmination of six months of dedicated effort and seamless coordination—from the initial concept paper to being honored with this award.
