Nobody wants to worry about whether their wastewater is contaminating nearby rivers, streams, and wells. That’s why, decades ago, our founders designed great solutions for onsite wastewater systems and traveled the Pacific Northwest, showing system designers that there was a better way to do things. Our methods of getting the message out there may have changed over the past three decades, but the objective is the same: protecting the world’s water resources. That’s the overarching goal in all we do, from product development and manufacturing to customer service and technical support. The same sense of purpose still drives us. Every. Single. How We Got Where We Are: Orenco was founded in 1981 in response to widespread failures in Oregon’s onsite wastewater systems. Affordable, Low-Impact Solution in Florida Wednesday, July 10th, 9-10:30am In Vero Beach, Florida, a proposed expansion of the city’s gravity sewer system was met with strong opposition from residents concerned about the cost and the expected disruption to roads and landscaping. Others objected to the idea of having to connect to city sewer when their own on-site systems were working just fine. To effectively launch its sewer project, the city needed a more affordable, less-intrusive option that didn’t require mandatory connection.
