The agency vowed that all female employees would be paid the same as their male counterparts, and it would actively grow the pool of BIPOC candidates in advertising. While pursuing its social mission, Orchard has also produced excellent work including Super Bowl ads for Oikos Triple Zero and Dashlane. The small agency produced four more campaigns during COVID-19, including one for Silk Soy with Michael Phelps. The firm saw year-over-year growth of 132%, adding up to an impressive debut.” - Campaign Agency of the Year Awards, Feb 18, 2021. see less

The bad times come for all of us. They come for every agency. It’s inevitable. You lose clients. You lose pitches. You lose colleagues. You lose more pitches. And the really unlucky ones lose loved ones. An agency isn’t defined by the good times. It’s defined by the bad. When the chips are down, some people choose to not show up. Others show up and point fingers, get angry and blame. The strength of an agency, the strength of character within an agency shows up when things suck. When you’re suffering loss, when you’re getting rejected. Orchard had a tough year last year, but we showed up. Everyone showed up. And when we showed up, we showed up together. Some people think that makes us the comeback agency of the year, I think it makes us the strongest. A special thank you to Barney R., David Kolbusz, Jimm Lasser, Heather Larimer, Jenn Pennington, Sarah Garman and the entire Orchard crew. Let's enjoy the rainbow.

Our first work with Etsy is #1 on this week's Creativity Top 5. "Holiday ads began coming in fast and furious this week. But much like Super Bowl advertising, a lot of holiday work has become formulaic—the stakes are so high that dispiriting “creative by committee” becomes the default. One campaign, though, didn’t just make our Top 5 this week—it was our favorite campaign of them all." Thanks Tim Nudd and Ad Age. And, congratulations to the very talented marketing team at Etsy.
