The Orano USA interns had an incredibly enriching and productive week! From CPR training and welding activities to team-building through cooking classes, they experienced a diverse range of activities that likely broadened their skills and perspectives. Meeting with Orano USA CEO Jean-Luc Palayer and VP of HR Robin Harris were highlights of the gathering, where they offered valuable career advice and insights into their own professional journeys. Even though the interns will continue with virtual meetings, I’m sure they will miss the camaraderie and energy of being together in person. The experience they gained during this gathering will undoubtedly help serve as one of many building blocks in shaping their future careers. A big thanks to Celine L. for continuing to lead such a supportive and engaging internship program!

ORANO was well represented at International Conference on the Management of Spent Fuel from Nuclear Power Reactors: Meeting the Moment, organized by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) this week in Vienna. The topics covered a wide variety of activities and experiences associated with the Back End of the Fuel Cycle with presentations from all over the world. Our colleagues from ORANO shared our expertise as part of technical sessions, panel discussions and as session chairs. It was an honor to present the EOS System and TN EAGLE for the Management of Spent Fuel.
