The Diocese of Orange is part of revival! ❤️🔥 Our Diocese’s bishops, as well as several priests, delegate parishioners and staff members, arrived at the 10th #NationalEucharisticCongress in downtown Indianapolis this week. The congress is the first for the U.S. in 83 years. This event, which goes from July 17 to 21, is the culmination of the National Eucharistic Revival, which in our Diocese included several street processions, Masses and the I AM Congress at Christ Cathedral. “What a gift this is that we can be united as a church through our Holy Father,” said Cardinal Christophe Pierre, the apostolic nuncio to the United States, during the July 17 opening revival session Lucas Oil Stadium. “At the same time, what brings us together at this congress, the Holy Eucharist, is also an immense gift for unity.” You can also visit the event’s website to register and watch the livestream. Please pray for all those in attendance, and let us know how our delegation can pray for you!

  • On a special day in June, Dalia Zakhary became the first Consecrated Virgin for the Diocese of Orange consecrated by the hands of Bishop Vann. Dalia reminds us that it’s never too late to pursue God’s call. Her message is clear: “Don’t give up searching. Don’t be afraid to say yes to God.” Catch a glimpse into the unique Consecration Mass and hear her reflections at: https://lnkd.in/ggYE8rCN Hear her powerful story of restlessness and how God called her to this vocation, which existed in the early Church and was lived out in the first virgin martyrs, such as St. Cecilia and St. Agnes: https://lnkd.in/gpVyxj6b How are you discerning God’s call? rcbo.org/vocations
