Optagon Photonics is an R&D service provision company that works along the innovation chain of photonics-enabled products from the concept idea to the prototype, specializing in the design of photonic integrated circuits (PICs) and the development of smart control electronics for them. In 2023 Optagon released their first control electronics products for operation control and programmability of passive and active elements (laser diodes, superluminescent diodes and SOAs) in PICs.
