Keith Rabois' new startup
OpenStore's CEO Keith Rabois is widely known for his executive roles at PayPal, LinkedIn, and Square. In 2014, he co-founded OpenDoor, a startup whose main product was an algorithm that would determine the value of homes based on data such as the ZIP code and the material of the countertops, then make cash offers to the owners, sight unseen. He’s now trying a similar model—right down to the name—with OpenStore, a startup that makes automated purchase offers to small e-commerce businesses.

OpenStore is a platform that allows Shopify digital store owners to sell their companies. These e-commerce owners can get an offer to buy their business in only one business day, rather than deal with a broker for three to six months and give up 10% of the sale price to them. As a startup, we seek and welcome the opportunity to be innovative within the OpenStore footprint- we offer fresh ideas and engagement toward building new traditions.
