In the comic panel below that was created with the help of #ChatGPT, the text are the prompts provided, however there's also a CustomGPT and custom instructions at work here guided a lot of the style. Generated content typically requires an #Expert and should always require a human to approve of the final #Content. In this case ChatGPT created an 8 panel comic with several nonsensical cut off panels (these aren't included in this video below because they were easily cut to focus on the useful panels) It also created some inconsistent aspects which can be corrected multiple ways: The test tubes can be corrected by narrative, explaining that the scientist touched their face, thus contaminating and changing the color of the test tubes, and their shock in noticing the error, and naturally their again touching of their face, then culminating in a shocked look of disappointment. The other aspects can be cleaned up using a combination of #Adobe's #GenerativeFill (#AdobeExpress is part of the training as well) and some color replacement. (We could do this with the vials as well if we wanted a different narrative.) While technically ChatGPT-4o can do generative fill, it's very clunky comparatively. Lastly the Adobe Express has a prompt-guided text wrapper, that in this case, to drive home the #contamination theme features brightly colored bacteria being highlighted by Glo Germ. We celebrated the graduation of our sixth cohort from the Biomanufacturing Bachelor's Degree program at MiraCosta College yesterday! 21 bright individuals will launch and expand their careers in the biotechnology industry. Almost 80% are already employed. More than 80% are female from this class and about 1/3 are first generation college students. Our program tradition is to elevate the nontraditional and underrepresented members of our community to access meaningful careers in a growing and impactful industry. 🙌 My thanks to long-time colleague, Bill [William] Jankowski, for delivering our Keynote Address and how he's personally witnessed the level of skill and ability of graduates, most recently at Open Biopharma Research and Training Institute. You've been an important part of the history and development of this program. I'd also like to thank our colleagues at Kite Pharma for sponsoring the graduation celebration. We appreciate so much that you joined us for the event -- Rod Freeman, Sophia Sharp-Donaldson, and Perry Chavez. Last week we had the distinct pleasure of hosting a facility tour for one of our local partners MiraCosta College through their #Biomanufacturing club. MiraCosta has a unique four-year Bachelor's degree program focused on Biomanufacturing. Using the cohort model, the group taking a tour with us last week was a mix of cohort 6 and 7. We work closely with both the Biomanufacturing program and the club as well to help maximize opportunities. Here we see students in our Utility Mezzanine, Training #Laboratory and Production Floor!
