We are thrilled to announce Tonya Collins is this year's DNS of the Year - East! She has consistently been a top performer all year. Tonya has worked with her community, district, and staff for successful programs and to feed as many kids as possible. She worked with the local newspaper, published an article on CACFP, and feeds every student an after-school meal every day. Tonya even stayed after school every day to ensure all her students received an after-school meal. Tonya has truly gone above and beyond to Make Their Day. 👏#opaagoeshollywood #maketheirday

We are thrilled to announce Olivia Olvera is this year's New DNS of the Year - West! Olivia has assisted other DNS in her area with understanding FUPM, understanding the WOR report in detail, and is not afraid to start new programs and items. This year, she has become an SNA Level 3, ServSafe Instructor and Proctor, and her district became a CTD! On top of all of this, she completed her bachelor's in accounting and graduated Cum Laude with a 3.6 GPA this year. 👏#opaagoeshollywood #maketheirday

We are thrilled to announce Sandy Burchett is this year's New DNS of the Year - East! After 18 months as a KM, Sandy stepped up when her DNS went out on medical leave. Soon after that the High School KM left the District. Sandy shouldered both roles for the remainder of the year and went on to lead a 1200 meal a day non-congregant program in the first months of being a full time DNS. We are thrilled to announce Taylie Foeder is this year's Kitchen Manager of the Year - West! She has learned how to improve her public speaking skills, gained confidence in her role, and learned more about innovative programs to increase her participation. Taylie has a knack for having fun in the kitchen and bringing the students to her team. She ensures her team is presenting great food, is honest and a hard worker, wakes up for work as early as 4:30AM, and has earned her spot as Kitchen Manager of the Year. 👏#opaagoeshollywood #maketheirday
