For too long, KYC was dehumanizing for immigrants. Despite the paths in CIPs to verify immigrants with visas, rigid tools made these impossible to discover. We wanted to be different at Footprint. We were built by a team of many immigrants and wanted to bring compassion to all applicants. Nothing is better than hearing genuine stories from the public about how your product has helped people, and this tweet by Logan Ullyott really warmed my heart as a result.

Very honored that Footprint was selected by Money20/20 as one of the top seven up and coming fintechs at the conference. Even better that it was with friends like Allen at Eisen and Benjamin at NALA. As I told them, "We've tried to be different at Footprint — whether that be through our recent fraud indemnification program or our approach to labeling good actors. Some may think these are crazy ideas. But it is great to see Money20/20 continue to be where crazy can get a spotlight. That is how I would like to think true innovation happens". Announcing the Footprint fraud indemnification program💰 It's pretty simple. If you use Footprint and we let in third-party fraud, we'll reimburse the losses. Other companies in our space have a secret: they profit off fraud by responding to incidents with more tools to upsell you to catch the next one. We're different, and we're betting on our tech. We'll respond to incidents with a payment to make you whole. No one has done this before. We've been working with some existing customers to get the details right.
