🌟 Hackathon Weekend of the AIM Connect Batch Program 🌟 Last weekend marked the culmination of the official AIM Connect Program with an exhilarating hackathon weekend! Our participants embarked on a journey to find creative solutions to pressing issues in the Med-Tech field. In preparation, participants researched a “Problem Space” in Medicine/Med-Tech that excited them. Whether linked to a session from this semester batch programm or another challenging issue, each participant summarized their research on 3 slides and presented it to the entire batch during Friday’s kick-off. Based on these presentations, the hackathon teams were formed around the top three problems: 1. Irregular drug intake 💊 2. Sleep deprivation in society 😴 3. Lack of transparency in hospital bed management 🏥 Over the next two days, teams dove deep into these issues, working tirelessly to develop innovative solutions and crafting a 3-minute pitch. To ensure their pitches were top-notch, participants received expert guidance through a Pitch Workshop with Felicitas Eidenschink from TUM Venture Labs. With ample time to discuss ideas during lunch and dinner breaks, the weekend was a perfect blend of curiosity, passion and fun! Plus, the new AIM merch each participant received only added to the spirit of the event. A huge shoutout to all participants for their dedication and creativity! 🚀 #AIMConnect #Hackathon #MedTech #Innovation #Teamwork #PitchPerfect

🚀 Exciting Visit to Brainlab! 🧠 There has been a lot going on in our batch program over the last few weeks, which is why the updates are now coming a little late. To round off our series of visits, our participants had the great opportunity to visit Brainlab two weeks ago. 🏢🔬During the visit, they received a demonstration of Brainlab’s products, which are involved in the fields of precision medicine and robotics for general assistance in surgery. They also enjoyed an extensive tour of the Brainlab headquarter, exploring the labs, prototype rooms, and offices. 🏙️Finally, they visited the Brainlab Tower, a repurposed structure from the old Munich airport, now serving as a unique after-work and party location. 🌟 Thank you to the Brainlab Team, especially Martin Immerz, for hosting us, and to all our participants for their lively engagement and interest over the last weeks!
