One conversation about the healthy relationships we all deserve can be life-changing. Share today with your loved ones.
About us
Founded in 2010 to honor Yeardley Love, One Love works to ensure everyone understands the difference between a healthy and unhealthy relationship. After her death, Yeardley’s friends and family were stunned to learn that 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men will be in an abusive relationship in their lifetime. Young women ages 16-24 are at 3X greater risk and have limited awareness of that fact. One Love exists because Yeardley was killed and her death was avoidable. Today, we work to ensure that everyone has information about unhealthy and abusive relationships that Yeardley, her friends and her family did not. Our work focuses on delivering information in a language young people can hear so that they can seek help before an abusive relationship escalates to violence. We use research-based information about the stages of unhealthy relationships and abuse, using language that resonates with young people. Our content meets young people where they're at using powerful content to show realistic portrayals of their lives. We want everyone to understand the danger in these types of relationships and empower them to leave an unhealthy situation—or help a friend leave—before it escalates to abuse. Young people who know the facts and who are empowered to help themselves and their friends will ultimately save lives.

As we celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA), we reflect on its profound impact on how the U.S. addresses gender-based violence. VAWA has provided critical protections for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking—including LGBTQ individuals—ensuring access to life-saving services. At One Love Foundation, we are proud to support this legacy and continue raising awareness around healthy relationships. Let’s take this moment to recommit to ending relationship abuse and creating a safer future for all. Learn more about our resources here: joinonelove.org #VAWA30 #TeamOneLove #OneLoveFoundation

Adam Joel, Writer and Director of The Last Drop (Film), a short sci-fi film inspired by real survivors' memories of relationship abuse, recently delivered a powerful TEDX talk on recognizing the subtle signs of abuse. His message perfectly aligns with One Love Foundation’s 10 Signs. The Last Drop is a free workshop you can bring to your community, and we’ve created a free discussion guide to accompany the film at our Ed Center. Support us in educating young people about healthy and unhealthy relationships by visiting joinonelove.org Watch the talk: https://lnkd.in/e9QwST9i #OneLoveFoundation #TEDx #HealthyRelationships #RelationshipAbuse #TheLastDrop
