How the Private Mobile Network Industry is Evolving Lately, Nokia and Ericsson have shared their data on how the LTE/5G market is evolving. Luke Pearce from GSA refers to those articles based on the GSA database: *Out of the total number of deployments, it appears that only 33% are 5G networks; most of the deployments are still LTE or 4.9G. According to Nokia's latest quarterly report, the 5G deployment ratio is even lower, standing at 22%. *As of the end of Q1 2024, there were 1,427 cumulative customer references, a 25% increase since Q1 of the previous year (according to the GSA reference count). *Manufacturing, education, and mining remain the top sectors for customer network deployment.
