We develop solutions to advance the science of transplant diagnostics and improve the patient journey.
About us
As part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, we develop and manufacture products and offer services to advance the science of transplant diagnostics. Our solutions and services help transplant labs and clinical teams provide personalized care across the patient experience. Dr. Paul Terasaki founded One Lambda™ in 1984 with the goal of developing tests to improve how laboratories match and monitor transplant recipients and donors. Since then, our HLA typing and antibody detection assays have been trusted by transplant laboratories worldwide. Clinicians also rely on data from our patient monitoring tests to make important decisions about post-transplant therapies. Transplantation is life-changing for recipients, and clinical diagnostics play a vital role in supporting all phases of treatment. Through our commitment to scientific innovation, product quality, patient advocacy, and excellent customer service, we are helping the transplant community raise the standard of care and improve outcomes for patients and their families. Giving back to the transplant community is part of our DNA! Recently, our team had the opportunity to collaborate with the National Kidney Foundation for a Drive for Dialysis event, where we assembled care kits and wrote notes of encouragement for 100 local patients undergoing dialysis – often the last line of treatment before kidney transplantation. We also got to hear from living kidney donor Tyche Nettingham on the life changing impact of living donation for both the recipient and the donor. The need for living kidney donors is greater than ever, and we’re proud to support the National Kidney Foundation in their efforts to educate the kidney community and spread the word about living donation. #livingdonation #transplantation #kidneyequityforall

We’re not only proud to enable our customers to improve the lives of transplant patients through innovative transplant diagnostic solutions, we’re also proud to support the transplant community and raise awareness of organ donation. That’s why we were thrilled to sponsor the Transplant Games of America last month in Birmingham, AL, and to hear directly from transplant patients on what it means to attend and compete in the games – all thanks to selfless donors who gave them the gift of life. Check out some of their amazing stories in this video.
Two-time double lung transplant recipient Brandi Bubczyk knew if she could recover and get her lung function back that she needed to do something BIG. Now she is a Transplant Games of America first-place medalist. Her story, and those of all transplant recipients are what inspire us to deliver innovative transplant diagnostic solutions that aim to improve the lives of transplant recipients.
