Recently, our team had the opportunity to collaborate with the National Kidney Foundation for a Drive for Dialysis event, where we assembled care kits and wrote notes of encouragement for 100 local patients undergoing dialysis – often the last line of treatment before kidney transplantation. We also got to hear from living kidney donor Tyche Nettingham on the life changing impact of living donation for both the recipient and the donor.
