OMODA made its first appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The stunning stand, centrally located on ‘The Grid,’ showcased its flagship model, the all-electric E5, with the petrol OMODA 5 taking on the iconic hill climb. Demonstration vehicles will be in showrooms later this summer. OMODA’s engineering and smart technology capabilities were not just limited to its automotive products; it also welcomed an unusual guest to the show, an intelligent robot dog named Dorry. Dorry roamed the grounds off-lead, smoothly performing flips, rolling over, and giving her paw to passers-by. #Car #NewCar #Technology #OMODA #Goodwood #FOS

OMODA and JAECOO UK have signed a financial services partnership with BNP Paribas Personal Finance UK and Arval BNP Paribas Group. The collaboration will support OMODA and JAECOO’s further expansion into Europe, launching in the UK automotive market, initially with both internal combustion engines (ICEs) and electric vehicles (EVs). Within a one bank solution drawing on BNP Paribas’ combined expertise and capabilities, BNP Paribas Personal Finance UK will provide consumer finance, and Arval UK will offer fleet and contract management services. BNP Paribas has developed strong relationships with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) across the world and the development of this partnership in the UK supports its strategy of supporting OEMs across multiple markets. Victor Zhang, Executive Vice President at OMODA & JAECOO UK, said: "We have big ambitions for Europe and have worked hard to try to bring the best products. However, we know that in the oldest automotive market in the world, we need to have the best partners to offer our customers the best experience throughout their journey with us. "We're delighted to be working with BNP Paribas in the UK. This is an exciting partnership with a very experienced company and experts in their field. Together we can develop what we feel will be not only a very competitive offering but something special for a newcomer to this competitive market." #ElectricVehicle #Finance #Fleet #NewCar #CompanyCar

Despite the rise of digital customer journeys, almost three out of four car buyers still value visiting car showrooms, according to the latest research from OMODA. The innovative automotive brand, dedicated to pioneering the future of travel, has commissioned research which underscores the importance of physical showrooms in the automotive purchase process. Most importantly, the research also shows how to bring these into the future. Among the highly valued features of showrooms are test drives, with 64% of buyers still wanting a hands-on experience with the vehicle. This comes as no surprise; however, when asked what features they’d like to see in future showrooms, 40% of respondents listed virtual test drives. The research also found that a fifth of UK car buyers would trust a virtual test drive. The most popular options for virtual test drive locations are 72% offroad, 65% on a racetrack and 48% along a beach. Interestingly, some want to go even further afield – 14% said they’d want to test drive a car on Mars. Despite many sounding the death knell for traditional showrooms, the research shows they still play an important role in the car buyer journey. OMODA is committed to maintaining and enhancing this vital aspect of the buying experience. By the end of 2025, OMODA plans to have a presence in over 100 car dealerships, with a strategic initiative already seeing over 60 showrooms open to customers in the UK. Designed to be the showrooms of the future, not the past, customers can expect an innovative and interactive experience that redefines car shopping. From augmented reality displays that allow you to visualise vehicles in various settings, to virtual reality test drives, future showrooms will be equipped with the latest technology to enhance the consumer experience. OMODA is committed to creating a dynamic and engaging environment that not only showcases the products, but also elevates the entire purchasing process. Victor Zhang, Executive Vice President of OMODA & JAECOO UK, comments: “Our 2035 future showroom will be an experiential hub offering immersive, customised and fun customer journeys. The showroom isn’t just transactional, it’s a place for customers to learn about the vehicle in a way that suits them. With our vehicles offering an increasing amount of technology, education is a huge part of the retail experience. Our research shows that buyers still value having a place to visit, so it’s about bringing the showroom into the future.” #OMODA #Automotive #Retail #BusinessNews #Insight

OMODA has continued its UK rollout by opening pre-reservations for its two debut models: the petrol-powered OMODA 5 and all-electric OMODA E5 crossover SUVs. With a £500 refundable deposit, customers are claiming a priority place when order books officially open and prices are announced shortly, with first deliveries anticipated in August. The news comes as the first UK-specification OMODA 5 rolled off the production line. The brand has just registered the first OMODA 5 on UK roads. Featuring a 187 bhp 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine, the OMODA 5 has been designed to stand out from the crowd. Its dynamic fastback shape incorporates OMODA’s Art in Motion design philosophy, combining influences from avant-garde art with a functional form. Inside, the car features two 10.25” high-resolution screens, multi-colour interior lighting, wireless phone charging and a full suite of ADAS safety technologies. The all-electric OMODA E5 is powered by a 150 kW (204 bhp) electric motor and a 61 kWh ‘blade’ battery. With optimised aerodynamics with class-leading noise reduction, the OMODA E5 offers a WLTP range of 257 miles. The electric crossover SUV can charge up to 80 kW, with a 30 to 80% top-up possible in just 28 minutes. Both OMODA 5 and OMODA E5 models have been awarded a five-star EuroNCAP safety rating and come with a seven-year / 100,000-mile manufacturer’s warranty as standard. #OMODA #NewCar #Technology #ElectricCar #Fleet #Business
