At the 13th annual OhioHealth Foundation Invitational this week, over $360,000 was raised to benefit the OhioHealth Dublin Family Medicine School-based Health Clinic, a partnership with Dublin City Schools. The clinic provides services such as vaccines, annual check-ups and sports physicals – eliminating barriers to care so students can stay healthy, participate in school athletics and gain employment. This partnership has been fully funded by donor support through the #OhioHealthFoundation for the last three years. Learn how you can make a commitment to the community: ohlth.co/3WbdzyQ.

Just Announced: OhioHealth is expanding Dublin Methodist Hospital with plans to increase inpatient and critical care capacity by adding significant square footage to the site and renovating existing space. Along with bringing new services to meet the growing needs of the community, the project also supports the hospital’s goal of achieving Level III Trauma Center status with the American College of Surgeons. If approved in 2025, Dublin Methodist will be the only Level III Trauma Center in the northwest region of central Ohio. This growth will create 200 permanent clinical jobs and hundreds of construction jobs. Work is expected to begin in Winter 2026 with an anticipated completion by early 2030. ohlth.co/4cFvQeD I #OhioHealthDublin

Exciting news: We’ve opened a newly renovated medical office building attached to OhioHealth Doctors Hospital! This $20 million investment will improve patient care, bring additional services and providers to the west side of central Ohio, and increase staff efficiency. “Currently, the hospital is close to physical capacity which is a barrier to bringing new services and recruiting new physicians, which ultimately impacts the patient experience,” Lindsey Osting MS, BSN, RN, NE-BC, president of Doctors Hospital said, “OhioHealth Doctors Hospital’s vision is to transform healthcare delivery to meet our patient population needs and to serve the community. Our patients deserve access to high-quality healthcare close to where they live and work.” Over the last several years, the hospital developed a master facility plan to strategically look at space utilization on the campus to make this vision a reality. Doctors Hospital Medical Offices will feature 18 different clinics including: - Dedicated women’s health floor with high-risk pregnancy support - Walk-in community care clinic to drive health equity - Variety of OhioHealth Physician Group practices from general surgery to gastroenterology Read more about the project and offerings: ohlth.co/3zGQVa4.

The OhioHealth Mobile Stroke Unit (MSTU) is commemorating five years of life-saving service to the central Ohio community. Responding 7 days a week, MSTU is dispatched to stroke 911 calls through the Columbus Fire Alarm Office. Two mobile units are specially equipped and staffed by trained providers, different from traditional EMS squads. This allows stroke-specific care to be started while a patient is in route to the hospital. The vehicle also connects virtually with OhioHealth stroke neurologists who help determine if the patient is having a stroke and what type through a CT scan. Minutes are precious when treating strokes, and we’re thankful to share MSTU has evaluated more than 2,450 patients since it’s launch in 2019.
