Exciting times ahead as The Ohio State University partners with Columbus State Community College for the Battery Workforce Challenge, a three-year collegiate competition sponsored by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and Stellantis. The BattChallengeOSU team recently unveiled its collaborative plan, focusing on inclusivity and skill enhancement to tackle the task of designing and integrating an advanced EV battery pack. Our first competition season was an incredible journey, filled with pride and gratitude. Our team achieved a 2nd place podium finish and earned several distinguished awards: Best Team Collaboration Plan, Best Mid-Year Team Status Presentation, Best Overall Project Management, Best Cell Characterization Analysis Report, Outstanding Vocational Instructor. Throughout this journey, we've made remarkable progress. Tackling deliverables and technical design challenges was no easy feat, but our strong collaboration allowed us to flourish. We treasure the friendships that made this experience so special and are eager to continue into Year 2. Here's to our amazing team and the adventures yet to come! #battchallenge 🎉🔋
