Yesterday, we hosted a heartwarming event at our Southfield showroom: an inclusive music class for children of all hearing abilities. Led by Ashley Danto from our team, the event featured activities by Lindsay Mall from The Bubble Club, with support from MICHIGAN HANDS & VOICES. This event was especially meaningful as Ashley's daughter, Isla, who has a hearing impairment, has received wonderful support from these organizations. The showroom came alive with colorful parachutes, maracas, drums, and the joyful sounds of children singing and laughing. It was a true celebration of music, community, and support. We are proud to have provided a platform for such an impactful gathering, raising awareness for incredible groups like MICHIGAN HANDS & VOICES. As a part of our annual Corporate Social Responsibility program, Wurkwel Ventures, LLC selects one non-profit or charitable organization in our community and outfits them with upgraded office furniture. We believe in creating a better workplace for today’s workers, regardless of budget, through environmental consciousness and sustainable practices. This giveaway is our way of helping those that could use a little help in creating an attractive and functional workspace for their employees.   Our 2024 recipient was Save-A-Pet, Inc in Grayslake, IL, who provides a safe haven for abused, neglected, injured, lost, or animals that have escaped euthanasia. They do not put a limit on the amount of care they provide for an animal and they never give up on them!   Take a look below at a little more information on the project, and thank you to all the staff at Save-A-Pet for all the great work you do!
