September is Recovery Month in Orange County and nationally! We’re proud to announce the OC Board of Supervisors has proclaimed September as a time to celebrate hope and healing. Throughout the month, we host events in the community to raise awareness about the journey of recovery. Our Director of Behavioral Health Services, Ian Kemmer, shared at the meeting that 1 out of every 6 people will struggle with substance use disorder at some point in their lifetime, but that recovery is real for many — and resources are available to help.
