I had the incredible opportunity to complete my first internship at Nunzio Marc DeSantis Architects in Dallas, Texas. The experience more than exceeded my expectations. I had the chance to work on a variety of hospitality projects with highly supportive teams that taught me valuable skills through each step of the design process. The experience and knowledge that I gained from the professionals at NMDA will stay with me for my entire career. I cannot thank the NMDA team enough. I was treated as an integral part of their team, and their culture of inclusivity and camaraderie made my experience much more enriched. I want to give a huge shout-out to Nunzio DeSantis, FAIA, Marc DeSantis, Camila Montoya, and Scott Eisenhart AIA for giving me the opportunity to be a part of their team and being amazing mentors to me. I will miss the NMDA family as I continue my education this summer at the University of Cincinnati.
