Authentic encouragement for leaders. Dad. Grandpa. Head Coach & CEO at SEMO Electric Cooperative & GoSEMO Fiber. Keynote Speaker. Founder of The Friday Feature - watch each Friday.
❓ As a coach or mentor, do the people you work with leave your presence feeling more confident, standing a little taller, and with a brighter spark in their eyes? Are you inspiring real growth and self-belief in those you guide? Last week, I had the privilege of being both challenged and uplifted by nearly 50 classmates, along with inspiring professors and faculty. Our five and a half days together were truly unforgettable, pushing us all to grow into better leaders and, more importantly, better human beings. I’m deeply grateful for their investment in us. We’ve all emerged stronger, and for that, we are better. Now, the real challenge begins—living up to that growth and continuing to push ourselves forward. Thank you Michelle L. Buck, Andrew Sykes, Lauren Rivera, Loran Nordgren, Sanjay Khosla, Nicholas Pearce, Joel Shapiro, Ernest Duplessis, Alanna Lazarowich, MBA, Megan Bloem, and Christine Miller for the opportunity at NRECA-CoBank Kellogg Executive Education Leadership Program at Northwestern University.

Today I’m reflecting on the past week and the inaugural NRECA Executive Leadership Program at Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management where CEOs and executive leaders came together to invest in their personal and professional growth. It was inspiring to see such a commitment to self-development, resilience, and sound leadership judgment. The insights shared and connections made will no doubt shape the future of the electric cooperative network. Thank you to CoBank for their generous sponsorship of the program.
