He grew from 13k to 30k followers in 8 months. But 12 months ago, he was struggling to get his personal brand off the ground. Since then, Jesse Pujji has: → Doubled his LinkedIn followers (30k strong now) → Grown his newsletter to 15k subs → Launched 3 portfolio companies off the back of his personal brand And this wasn’t luck. Here's how we helped Jesse revamp his online game: Jesse and our founder, Marvin Sanginés, crossed paths through a mutual friend and kicked off their collaboration in early 2023. Jesse was already killing it on Twitter, but lacked content strategy and reach on LinkedIn. He needed to carve out his own niche and double down on what was already working. So, we put him through our signature notus personal branding process: 1️⃣ Laying the Foundations We: → Revamped his LinkedIn profile to showcase his best work → Dug up his top-performing old content → Doubled down on “Bootstrapping” as his No. 1 topic Then, we: 2️⃣ Fired up the Content Engine Jesse was sitting on a huge backlog of unused content. And there was no process to get regular new input from him (spoiler alert, he’s super busy). So, we set up a Content Engine that: → Repurposed his best-performing past content → Regularly injected fresh ideas from Jesse → We committed to posting 3x/week on LinkedIn. His account skyrocketed. The last piece of the puzzle was… 3️⃣ Building the Retention Engine With our Content Engine revved up and ready to roll, it was time to shift our focus to owning Jesse's audience beyond LinkedIn. He already had a newsletter, but it didn't line up with his new presence. So, we: → Created an email course → Used it to drive traffic to his re-branded newsletter "Bootstrapped Giants" → Helped him hire a Head of Content to keep things running smoothly in-house 4️⃣ The outcome After 1 year of working together, Jesse: → Generated a whopping 500 leads for Growth Assistant (one of his portfolio companies) → Was flooded with inbound dealflow for his new company Aux Insights → Grew his Newsletter to 15k subscribers → Cemented his status as one of the fastest-growing accounts on LinkedIn We learned a ton from working with Jesse. We knew he wouldn't outsource his personal branding to us forever. So we set the foundation and created something that his team could use in-house. We still consult their content team, but they don't have to rely on us anymore. We want to say a huge thank you to Jesse for our collaboration. Can't wait to see where you go next :) P.S. If you want to build your brand like Jesse, you’ll love our 5-day email course on growing your Personal Brand the right way.. You’ll discover how to: • Create an effective content strategy • Build a smooth content engine • Turn attention into conversions These are the exact systems our team used to blow up 110 client brands (and counting). Value alignment is much more important to us at notus than where you’re based. Which means we can find the right people for our team globally. That’s why our Head of Operations Nicolle Sophie is based in Brazil while the majority of the team is based in Europe. She’s: → Based in Brazil → A huge fan of travel → An incredible content creator Nicolle joined as a virtual assistant after smashing through our recruitment process and beating 350 other applicants.  With a global talent pool, it’s harder to compare people. There’s more variation, and different cultures come into play.  So we rely on our company values to guide our recruitment process: 1️⃣ Positive sum games: The growth of one person will contribute to the growth of another. 2️⃣ Address the elephant in the room, at all costs: Be transparent, and build trust, if there is a potential problem, we talk about it 3️⃣ Live a ‘content’ life: There’s no expectation to sacrifice life for your work. Work should form part of your happy, content life. We saw all our values in Nicolle. From day 1, she exceeded our expectations. It was clear we had to find something bigger and more challenging for her to do.  Which is how she worked her way to be the Head of Operations. Without being remote first, we wouldn’t have been able to hire Nicolle and we might have ended up hiring someone who didn’t fit our values.  Nicolle truly changed notus for the better. Unfortunately, she’s leaving us. An opportunity came up that she couldn’t refuse. We’re sad to see her go, but very excited for her and we wish her all the very best for her journey. Even in her last days with us, Nicolle showed her amazing work ethic by putting together a perfect onboarding plan that made it super easy for us to bring on our new fractional CMO. We want to thank you, Nicolle,  for all your hard work this past year. We’ll always be rooting for you! We are always looking for more people like Nicolle who align with our values and are excited to build notus together -  if this sounds like you, get in touch. #personalbranding #content #contentagency

He runs one of the biggest, most forward-thinking construction companies in Austria. And we had the pleasure of helping him build his personal brand. Hubert Rhomberg has been working with notus for almost four years. Back in 2020, he was already a pioneer in his field and had plenty of knowledge to share. But… This was mostly happening through legacy outlets and offline media, like news channels and conferences. Online, Hubert wasn’t reaching beyond his existing network, and he didn’t have a system to produce content consistently. When we first connected, our founder, @Marvin, was struck by how many pearls of wisdom he had to share on many of the most important challenges facing the world today. We knew that Hubert had an opportunity to become an established thought leader in: → Conscious leadership → Decentralization → Sustainable construction So we got to work. Together, we’ve produced over 200 posts, and recently launched his newsletter “The Rhomberg Letter” resulting in: → Millions in investments acquired  → Hundreds of B2B leads  → Millions of impressions → Over 30k followers Hubert’s growth is one of our team’s biggest wins. He’s a visionary, conscious leader, and someone who cares deeply about the well-being of our planet. It’s not often we work with someone for so long. In doing so, we’ve dug into his personality, point of view, goals, and audience. Plus, we’ve built an effective content engine that will last years. And we’re having a hell of a good time along the way 😎 Are you looking for a system to help scale and leverage your personal brand? Send us a DM and let’s chat! #contentengine #personalbranding

Nobody actually needs company core values. They’re just fluff. That’s what I used to think when it was just me and a couple of freelancers. But over the past 5 years, I’ve worked with dozens of people and experienced the best & the worst. I’ve: • hired people • fired people • been screwed over by people. In this process, I learned that without the right values, I can’t determine who the right people are. It wasn’t until years later, when I had a coaching session with my good friend and mentor Frederik Fleck , that I saw the true power of core values. He told me to look at the current team members I appreciate and analyze what their patterns are. On top of that, he asked me to envision what the dream notus team member would be. • How would they think? • How would they act? • How would they live? From there, my task was to reverse engineer the values this person represents. Suddenly, it was an easy task. Here are the notus core values I presented to the team at our quarterly all-hands last week: 1. Humility No one knows it all. Self-awareness and reflection are invaluable for a high-performing team. • asking questions • taking ownership • cutting the ego These are things we want to hold each other accountable for. ____ 2. Curiosity Everyone has a story worth telling. And there’s always something to learn. From asking your Uber driver questions To talking to a B2B SaaS founder Curiosity drives us forward. It’s the base of our job and key to our growth. ____ 3. A-Players The notus vision is to empower millions of people. For that, we need a SWAT team that is: • proactive, • hungry to learn, • and loves taking ownership. We expect everyone on the team to perform - most of all ourselves. ____ 4. Transparency We ALWAYS address the elephant in the room. Our culture relies on real, open conversations. This is how we can make quick iterations and grow together, even in a remote setting. When something comes up, we address it immediately. ____ 5. Positive Sum Games Companies die when structures turn into toxic hierarchies. For us it’s important to provide value internally, and give each other more leverage in return. If you lift others, you lift yourself. The pie only gets bigger as we grow. ____ 6. Content Life This one’s a double whammy. We value good content, but we also value a content (aka. happy) life. We believe that better content leads to better lives. Which is why we are both avid content consumers & creators. ____ These values shape how we think, feel and act. They’re the guiding principles on our mission. PS.: We're actively looking for content strategists & copywriters to join our team. If these values resonate and you want to be part of an awesome team with awesome clients, shoot me a dm :)

Our founder recorded 48 podcast episodes with only 1 listener last year. It generated €500,000 in revenue… We never even published this podcast. But it worked wonders for us: •Led to over €500,000 in deals •Generated 1.5 million impressions •Expanded our client base by 200% Back in 2023, Marvin Sanginés started hopping on these podcast-like interviews with our Content Strategists once a week. We recorded these conversations and turned them into LinkedIn posts using our Content Engine process. (Fun fact: Over 90% of all our clients' LinkedIn content and sales come from calls like these). Marvin shared his thoughts on business, trends, and things that caught his attention (he likes good coffee). Then his strategist found the golden nuggets. Marvin’s strategist: → Turned his monologue into individual LinkedIn posts → Revised them based on Marvin’s feedback → Scheduled and posted them when Marvin’s audience was most active It’s not rocket science. But it’s the most efficient way to produce original content that grew Marvin’s business (with less than 2 hours/week.) If you want to steal our process, here's how the Content Call agenda goes: • Catch up on the past two weeks • Dive into subject-matter questions based on our Content Archetype • Review feedback from previous posts • Check out successful posts from similar creators to double down on what’s working (no need to reinvent the wheel) This keeps the content fresh and prompts Marvin to reflect on his audience and current trends that are working. If you’re a founder, feel free to use this process yourself. (And if you want to make it even easier for yourself, you could just hire notus, and we'll do everything for you.) -- P.S. We built a 5-day email course on how to use your Personal Brand to grow your business. You’ll discover how to: • Create an effective content strategy • Build a smooth content engine • Turn attention into conversions These are the exact systems our agency notus used to blow up 110 clients. Over 70% of my B2B dealflow is born in my LinkedIn DMs. (and I only spend 15 minutes a day there) Here’s the simple account routine I use to turn my LinkedIn profile into our #1 B2B sales engine. I have a harsh truth for you: Posting content alone won’t generate revenue (at least not a lot) Most of your prospects are lurkers, and won’t directly reach out to buy from you. Granted, that’s a pretty big step. What they’re more likely to do is either: - send you a connection request - like / comment on your post - visit your profile Luckily these are all trackable signals you can now use to start conversations with your ideal customer. I’ve used these signals to generate multiple 6- figures in revenue for notus Here’s my 15 minute / day process: 1) I welcome every (relevant) connection request. If it doesn't include a message, I ask why the person reached out in the first place. E.g. "Thx for the connection request - curious to hear why you reached out?" You'd be surprised how many people neglect this. A costly mistake, yet easy to avoid. ____ 2) I monitor my profile visitors daily. If I see a relevant profile, I send that person a quick message asking how I grabbed their attention. E.g. "Saw that you visited my profile - how did I grab your attention?" This simple habit can lead to unforeseen conversations. It's the reason I pay for LinkedIn Premium. ____ 3) I check who liked my posts or left a comment. If I don't know the person, I write them a short message thanking them for the interaction. E.g. "Appreciate your recent interaction on my post. Any other topics you're interested in?" This is also a great way to gather feedback from your audience and generate fresh content ideas. ____ These three simple activities take no more than 15-30 minutes a day. But they contribute significantly to my business’ top-line. Because at the end of the day, there’s already tons of interested ideal buyers out there. They just need a little nudge. So go out there and start nudging. TLDR: - Ask new connections why they reached out - Ask profile visitors how you grabbed their attention - Ask content-engagers for feedback Pro Tip: I use Textblaze to speed up my workflow. Anything you’d add? Would love to hear about your favorite sales strategies :) #founderledsales #b2bsales #trustatscale

We've neglected our LinkedIn company page for too long. Here are 3 reasons why we're revamping it in 2024: Our CEO, Marvin Sanginés has built a strong personal brand on LinkedIn. It has generated 90% of our clients here at notus. His brand is our most valuable asset, and it’s why we always tell founders and executives to build their personal brands. But a strong company page is also important. You can use it to: 1️⃣ Highlight and build trust with your entire team 2️⃣ Use it as a landing page to convert traffic from paid ads 3️⃣ Showcase your company culture to attract and recruit top talent So here’s our content strategy for the notus company page in 2024: → Introduce the brilliant team behind notus so our clients know who they’ll be working with → Highlight successful case studies to show what our team is capable of → Experiment with different content types and posting frequencies → Run ads against our best-performing organic content We will always keep building our personal brands. Our company page is just another opportunity to connect and build trust with clients, partners, and new teammates. We’ve got some exciting stories to share, so stay tuned! #personalbranding #startups #content

I just launched my first newsletter, “The Content Founder”! For the past 5 years, I’ve been leveraging content to build my business. It’s been a wild ride - equal parts scary and exciting. I’ve: • Learned high-value skills that will serve me for life • Connected with people I could have never imagined • Worked with 110 awesome clients (and counting) • Earned location and time freedom in my work And leveraged content to document my journey & share my learnings along the way. All while striving to live a good, content life. For me, finding happiness in the moment has always been as important as success in business. And that’s exactly what The Content Founder newsletter is all about. If you’re a founder or executive who wants to leverage content to: • Generate more organic leads for your business than you know what to do with • Attract and retain top talent from around the world • Build trust at scale with clients, partners, and investors • Gain media leverage, and • Live a content life Then this is for you. Every two weeks, I will be sharing tips, tricks, and stories me & my team notus gathered from building brands for some of the most influential founders and executives around the world. No fluff. Just actionable tips that you can implement immediately to grow your personal brand ( the odd coffee recommendation to keep you properly caffeinated). This week, I share a content creation method that will make sure you never run out of content ideas ever again. If you didn’t see a 💆🏽 in your inbox this morning, then go subscribe here 👉 https://lnkd.in/d6uxQe_3  Next issue goes out in 2 weeks. We’ll be talking about setting up a media strategy to guide your content and attract the right audience. See you there 💆🏽💆🏽💆🏽 #contentfounder #personalbranding #content

I sacrificed 80% of my personal profits to grow my agency last year. In 2022, I: - Worked alone as a freelancer - Had 85% margins - Made ~$10k-30/mo revenue I spent more time working in the business than on the business. It was exciting, but I felt trapped in a hamster wheel. I could only scale so much on my own. In 2024, I: - Have 7 full-time employees - Pay fixed costs of almost $40k/mo - Keep less than half of what I used to personally Now, I spend my time bringing in new clients, creating content and managing a team. I leave my 6-star team to drive results in client projects. My solopreneur friends think I've lost it, but I feel good about the evolution. I know I can always go back, but I want to impact millions of people. And I don't want (nor can) do that alone. My team makes every dollar I “sacrifice” in personal profit worth it (cheezy, I know). It's so much more fun when you get to share both the highs & the lows with awesome people working towards the same vision. Plus, we do have a path towards exciting profit margins (we plan to keep the team lean.) So here's to doing cool sh*t with cool people. Shoutout to everyone from team notus & all of our partners / clients! I appreciate you 💆🏽💆🏽💆🏽
